Pure and lean. Lemon-like acidity. With well-balanced complexity. Good chalky fine-grained grape tannins add to this refreshing but complex style of the wine. Lengthy follow with an appealing tartness to it, reminiscent of pomegranate seeds.

    Colour: Deep, vibrant purple hue

    Aroma: Fresh wild berries, black currants and raw liquorice. Some white pepper edged with floral notes from lavender.

    Palate: Pure and lean. Lemon-like acidity. With well-balanced complexity. Good chalky fine-grained grape tannins add to this refreshing but complex style of the wine. Lengthy follow with an appealing tartness to it, reminiscent of pomegranate seeds.

    Ageing potential: Drink now but will age well over 8 years with careful cellaring.

Balanced and concentrated. Some nice lemon and stone fruit creaminess complemented by a slight residual sugar. Well-integrated with soft acidity and lingering follow. No overt wooded notes, even though it is aged in older aged oak barrels.

    Colour: Clear, bright, straw yellow, light golden hue

    Aroma: Primarily tangerine peel and fresh-squeezed lemon with hints of something sweeter, reminiscent of dried apricots and baked apples. Some herbal side aromas from fennel bulb or chamomile at the base.

    Palate: Balanced and concentrated. Some nice lemon and stone fruit creaminess complemented by a slight residual sugar. Well-integrated with soft acidity and lingering follow. No overt wooded notes, even though it is aged in older aged oak barrels.
